Any point Upgrading i5 2500K

The 4670K is probably easier to get stable at 4.7/4.8 than the 4770K ... (assuming HT isn't disabled, but that somewhat defeats the purpose of getting the more expensive CPU :))

2500K definatly good for gaming

Recently rebuilt my rig into a prodigy and my 2500K is now at stock, and paired with my 7950 still plays everything very nicely :)

Only way id consider upgrading is if I came across a cheap 3770K.

Thanks for all these thoughts guys.
Yeah, I am sticking with my i2500k @ 4.2 (1st oc attempt).

The cpu's don't have a big enough jump in technology / speed increase to justify the price to upgrade etc.

Will probably try to oc more in the near future, aiming for 4.5 with the nh-d14 cooler.
