My father has asked me to make his company a 'mini facebook' for employees to use. Nothing too fancy, reg page, profile page viewable only to people in the same department, status updates to projects and activity history etc. I know I could make exactly what he wants given time, although it might be lacking security because I'm not too clued up with that, especially commercially.
Is there anything similar to a cms which I could modify or is this better off handed to an agency?
