Afternoon all. Just wondering if any of you have had any problems with this software. I did google. But I would rather have your experience. The basilisk is rather fab. So happy with the hardware.

Ive heard a lot of people dont like the synapse software, but for me, ive had zero problems with it, just set my mouse up, close the software completely, and then play games.

Everything has been smooth and faultless for me.

If you can setup and save the profiles to the mouse, I'd then uninstall it. I've found that software from these companies can lead to often fun to diagnose instabilities. Be that in windows or when gaming. So any motherboard software, or stuff like Synapse, iCue, etc. I remove it all. Don't run anything I don't have to.

That is a good plan.

I have found it a little inconsistent. Often times it works when powering the computer on, others it doesn't. Isn't a massive issue in that regard but I do find it uses more resources than I would like. It's only on my private laptop now as I don't use the Razer for work anymore.

I do like the usability and the ease of changing and testing setting though. Can't say I feel strongly either way about it - seems to work alright and hasn't caused any issues. Whilst I don't use my laptop for gaming anymore, when I did use it for gaming I don't recall Synapse being an issue.
