As title - just about to buy a PSU now but need to make sure it has one of these 8-pin PCIe connectors in anticipation of the new ATI graphics cards.

Cheers.

i believe that suppliers will be shipping converters for the 8pin PCI-Express with the R600 to account for the fact little/none PSUs have them on at the moment. I'd expect converters to become available soon on their own and psus to follow after. Once the cards released, maybe try looking at the vendor's website for details of whats included. Also, no doubt they'res gonna be reviews galore on the internet which will give insight as to the full box content.

Enermax have also issued a new modular cable which works with their existing "Liberty" modular PSUs (it uses one 6-pin and one 4-pin PSU output).

I think my Tagen 900w has 4, but seeing I am at the work, I cant confirm it for def.

Yeah im sure this is correct. :)

Doh, i misread the title.

The tagan only has 6 pin pci-e connectors. I thought it was the cpu conector he was asking about :p

The Enermax Infiniti 650watt and 720watt PSU's have the 8pin PCI-express connector...
