I'll be buying around 30 metres of cable soon and was just wondering if there was anyone here using this cable?

I've read reviews ('customer reviews') saying that they lack bass delivery... which.... tbh i'm not sure if I should just be taking that with a pinch of salt..

But anyway - anyone care to post their own reviews? :D

I'm particularly interested to know how flexible it is as well (i'm guessing it's not very!)

Its great cable - I have it and QED micro. Its obviosly not as flexible as micro but is ok and I think it sounds fine.

Maybe, it's the only cable I've ever had so I have nothing to compare it to, lol. What type of set up do you have? A bright sounding system like cyrus/MA might not go well with it.

WHy spend soo much on something that makes soo little difference if any.

If you want cable for Home cinema then pop pver to the avforums cable powerbuys and get some van damme blue cable. At under £2 per metre it is a steal and if you can tell the difference between that and some QED stuff then Il come and buy you a beer :p

i use the VanDamme Blue 2.5mm with my MA Gold speakers and have no complaints, read more than a few reports that any Silver wire is too bright with revealing speakers such as the MA's which is why i went the VDB cable route.

you could always buy a few metres of each to start with and see which one you prefer.

Ahhh yes the Van Damme Blue - I forgot about those :D (I remember you recommending them before -Ad-)

Might go for some of that then... it's literally 1/2 the price of the QED lol

Although one annoying thing (and this will sound so pedantic and stupid) - is the fact that i'll have to get some ducting ASAP to cover it all up! lol (cream walls + dark blue cable = :()

Are their "Blue" series the only ones worth looking at? - Just curious if this one is also any good: http://www.clearly-av.co.uk/V502000.html

(hope that's okay to link.....!)

I literally bought QED SA XT as it was white ;)

I have some Chord stuff and some VD and there is nothing between them soundwise but the QED just looked nicer ;)

I even got airlocs on it to make plugging in and out easier, total waste of money but it is neat and easy so all good !

lol I was looking at the QED and accompanying Airlocs initially.. but then came to the conclusion that I can't be bothered with all that - i'm just going to stick with bare wire :D

Never seen that stuff before

Van damme blue + cream paint = PROFIT :p:D

I recommend it because it is soo cheap and good quality. Played with it in a store but don't have the need to buy any yet, Full 5.1 system is a few years away yet.
