looking for blu ray laptops? min 3GB (pref 4GB) ram

only ones i've seen are the stupidly large gaming ones.

or possibly, a 15" dual core lappy with HDMI and blu ray? decent enough to replace a desktop
 
want to replace a desktop generally and have it as a mobile one.

e.g take lappy on holiday (bored stiff on planes), to work etc, but when i get home i'd hook up with USB and firewire (ext hard drives and wifi keyboard and mouse) and HDMI to my telly and use it as the main PC at the time
 
wayyy overkill. 4 GB ddr2 maybe, but DDR3? overpriced at the mo.

will have a look at the dells around feb time i think

really, something with 4GB DDR2, at least 1.8Ghz dual core, min 250GB drive, HDMI, and a blu ray/HD-DVD drive is what i'm looking for.

15" ideally, but 13" would do.

updated the subject due to me checking out blu ray lappies

found the Laptop VGN-FW21L - which goes for £590 but the Sony VAIO AR71 M is £100 more generally but seems quite a bit better.
