Ive just bought myself a wheel that I can use properly, the Simraceway SRW-S1. Like 99.9% of wheels you buy they come with pedals, but Im disabled and I cant use pedals, so for the past 5+yrs Ive been fighting with the keyboard and my old microsoft force feedback wheel using digital buttons for accel and brake.

So for the past few yrs I havent been able to compete with you guys because using the keyboard and using my old wheel just was rubbish, but now I should be able to join in with you lot. So guys will we be racing this yr?

Ive manage to mount my wheel on my old wheel, as holding it in the air is rubbish.

I play all the Simbin Race 07 series games, not very often though more of a casual racer.

Just find them easy to setup and play, but I would like a more refined game and something with better netcode.

how does that wheel feel, quality of materials and buttons etc?

The feel and build quality is really good, but I think it could have felt better in the hand without the divider in the hand grips, but other then that its perfect for me to use and I haven't been able to say that for yrs about any game controller, as its no fun spinning off every 5mins cos there nothing suitable in the market for disabled ppl and this is the only wheel Ive come across that dont need pedals

But this wheel needs to be mounted on something as my arms are about buggered within 20mins of holding it up. A mate of mine works where they make glider tow ropes and stuff, so he said he will knock me up a mount for the wheel, as it has a screw thread on the back of the wheel, then it should be even better to use.

Great stuff, I asked steelseries if they had a desk mount for this wheel and they have just replied saying that one is being released late this summer, so happy days:D

Which racing games are good in simulation and graphics, not arcady? i would love a racing sim where you could load up an aston martin and crank up the volume and really feel like you're in the car.

It's rally, but Rally Trophy offers something fantastic in the oldschool terms of realism.

Been years since i played it, forgot how good it was. Smart and neat with the visuals, the engine notes are crack on.

Plays a peach, win7 64 no issues.

I just got a Ferrari GT Experience for £20. Guy never used it, was still sealed up. Works great on win 7 64bit. Wheel itself is OK for a casual racer like me, hardcore fans will probs want better. But I have just got back into shift 2 with all the driving tweaks/mods and Race 07.

if you dont mind it being a pre alpha game then project CARS is well worth going for.

if you plug both wheels in and set the controllers up properly you ight be able to get force feedback from the wheel you've mounted it to if there is any

I tested out ACR (Auto Cub Racing) today for the first time, was ok really..it's missing too many options though, like basic tuning you can do yourself, so It's not really a simulation game.
