Any reason why?

Hey Guys,

I recently built myself a gaming pc and i got the Asus GTX 760. I come on the forums a lot recently and whenever someone asks for a spec check, a lot of the time a GTX 670 gets recommended which is only slightly less money than the 760. I assume its because there little difference between the 2 and you can save like £20?

Thanks

Before the 670 price reduction the 760 was at the perfect price point for its performance, between the 660ti and the 670.

Then the price of the 670 got slashed (from £240 down to £190-£210, to get rid of old stock)... This is the only reason it gets specced a lot..

There isn't a huge amount of difference between the two, though appearently (only heard from other forum memebers) the 760 SLI scaling is better. :)
