Any recent passport applicants

Gonna be sending off for my passport this week but as I understand it you have to attend some sort of interview?

Just wondering anyone applied for it recently? How long does it take as well?

Just got one done, got it back last week and it took about a week and a half.
So not long at all.

IIRC the interview is only if, you have never had a passport, as far as I know a renewal ect is the same as it always was.

Interview is for new passports and renewals if you want the quick service(week or day)

I recently applied for a renewal, chose the 3 week service and actually got it in a week.

No interview for my passport Re application, although they did send it back because the photos were no good. :rolleyes:

Got my first ever passport last week. Send off the application, got my passport a week and a half later. No interview, no phone calls, no hassle. Sorted.
