any recomendations on a good router?

im not up on routers and ive looked and read reviews and am sorta lost, theres too many out there with our without functions im not educated enough to make a decision about so i thought id ask on here.

Heres what im looking for.

not much more than £60
decent connection/transfer rate, is there a difference between routers and their speed that arnt related to your actual internet speed like transfer rates?
Mainly used for gaming.
Want to connect 2 PCs by cable.
Want WiFi so i can browse from my phone.

and hopefully i can just plug it in and go with my current service provider which is Plusnet

thanks spank, its a buyer, i know jack about routers and dont have the brain capacity to sponge all of the info and keep it locked in for more than a day or 2.

wifi, 4 gigabit Ethernet which means 4 possible PC connections? and faster latencies between router and PC?

Yes, 4 wired connections. Latency between the router and PC will be measured in nanoseconds, you won't notice it.
