any recommend a good program to monitor fan speeds

keep getting cpu fan error on my p8p67 pro.. i know its working just want to know how much,,:) thanks

also looking for program to show my cpu under load while palying games?

Have you set the fan speeds manually? If your CPU fan is running under a certain speed it will error on POST because it will see it as not running. you can suppress these messages in the BIOS though.

edit: Asus provide fan monitoring progs on the motherboard install disc

Have you actually plugged the a50 in the correct place?

Even though the a50 is 3 pin it needs to be on the 4 pin port (with CPU fan next to it) and not the 3 pin to the right.
 
use a finger, rest it near the blades, then count how many cuts you get in a minute.

divide the number of cuts by the number of blades on the fan, instant RPM reading.
 
I've got an asus board (p5k premium) and ive just installed speedfan in win7. the asus al-suite isnt very good for adjusting fan speed because reboot is required to take effect .

Speedfan lets you adjust your fans instantly and you can set all your parimeters just how you want them, I can't believe its taken me this long to find this great little app.....

If you put a shortcut to it in your startup folder, it'll load up on boot.
