Hi,
Ive been upgrading my gaming pc lately,
i think i could do with better ram / a new psu

Heres my current hardware list

Cpu: AMD Phenom X3 8750B
Mainboard: Saphire Tech PE-AM2RS740G2
Ram: 2x1gb (ddr2 800mhz) in duel channel
Graphics card: Ati Radeon HD 4650
Psu: 680W (no 6pin connecters)

my mainboard is stock so its prety much locked out of any overclocking

Extra cooling:
1 front case fan
1 side case fan
2fan ram cooler
----

I have ordered this graphics card just for the specs and the mutant heatsink thats replaced the standard stock one which makes it prety possible to overclock a bit more then the stocks
Radeon 9800+

Now i am aware that i am going to have to replace the psu in order to get the best out of this card (it uses 2 6pin cables)
so if i use adapters on my current psu it will proberly screw up,
So my question to you guys is
Can you recommend any other hardware to get
Like Ram, Psu's, Mainboards

Budget, and might want to remove the link.....

Also would you want a complete new computer, or just like, CPU/Mobo/Ram/PSU/GPU... Plus, £90 for a 9800.....

kd

i also got the 9800 because it supports stereoscopic 3d which ima be getting the other required parts for in the future

Psu: 680W (no 6pin connecters) <-- That's a little worrying, as it may indicate a PSU that's far worse than it should be.

Can you find out who made your PSU and the model number etc?

mhm hold on,

And to solve the issues over the 6 pin power connector you need...

You've ordered a GFX card that is decent for 2007 and not that much greater than what you already had.
