Can anyone recommend a decent CPU cooler? I'm after something that is relatively easy to mount as I used to have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO and I found that very annoying to mount. I've thought about one of the many AIO's on the market, but I think air cooling is cheaper and is one less thing which can go wrong in my system. I intend to upgrade my system to an i5 4690K at some point in the future so the cooler would need to be able to handle that on an over clock.

170mm clearance without a side fan is nice.

Easy to fit..hmmmm.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Alpenföhn Matterhorn Pure Edition CPU Cooler £29.99
1 x Raijintek Themis Black Heatpipe CPU Cooler PWM - 120mm £19.99
Total : £59.58 (includes shipping : £8.00 Ex.VAT).

There are more with ok mounting systems such as Noctua and Phanteks and the Prolimatech Megahalems (which needs a fan purchased for it).

I do remember my Coolermaster 612 needing like 3 or 4 hands to fit as you have to hold the heatsink in place on the board, then with spare hand attach the backplate then with your third invisible hand screw it down.

All the ones above are like mount the backplate with some cross piece either side of the socket, then just fit the heatsink with a crossbar between these two pieces and you dont need a large family to help you do this.
