Tuniq are usualy a top CPU cooler arnt they?

Runs between 1 and 2 degrees cooler than the the established Tuniq according to this link...not much really, but I think it looks a bit better.

I think tower type coolers have pretty much got as good as they are going to get, unless there is some knind of enginering breakthrough.

Would one need to remove their motherboard to mount this?

Depends on your system probably though think from what I have read it come with a bracket and thus may require removing your board depends on your case! Oh and what CPU you are using!!

Yeah you'd need to take your mobo out and fix the bracket to the back of the mobo, then mount from the front.
