Any reviews out there yet for the 5870 2GB in gaming

i wanted to see if this 2GB of ram made much difference to games using high AA and stuff i'm not after eyefinity reviews i just want raw single screen gaming i think the 2gb could make a big difference in games like crysis and metro 2033

I tried my poor google effort but got nowhere

eyefinity edition of the 5870 with 2gb of RAM. Seems to add about 5 FPS in a few games (stalker COP, dirt) but then does nothing in BFBC2 when compared to the 1gb version. Interestingly as well, the 480GTX still proves faster in the games which tomshardware posted so we'll have to see how these end up in price before coming to a proper conclusion.

When 6 monitors are used in a few games, the graph shows pretty poor numbers in a few games (BFBC2 - 33fps in dx11 - stalker - 34fps in dx10) with TWO of these in crossfire meaning you might have to even trifire these to get a decent framerate, which means you need exceptionally deep pockets.
