I wondered if there are any fellow old school skaters in here like me ?

I used to skate religiously in the mid 90s when it was all the rage. Bauer Turbo's, Cheese blocks, Belair hockey the lot.

Ive since picked this up again over the last 18 months or so as Ive hit 40 years old, and having the time of my life again! Both inlines and Quads.

Got more pairs of skates now than I care to admit :D

Used to be really into aggressive rollerblading (skating every weekend and during the week) until I moved away for uni and as a lot of people do, get too involved with uni life and slowly lose the hobby! Got semi back into it after a few years in the workforce but had 2 incidents with broken bones in my hand/wrist and just can't justify doing that sort of damage again.

I still keep semi up to date through instagram but I've not touched my skates for a few years. What sort of stuff do you like doing on your inlines?
With my inlines I'm mostly doing longer recreational skating, but have a pair of Seba CJs on Wizard frames for doing some Wizard stuff. I've never tried agressive to be honest. I'm porbably a bit old for that now as you say the risk of injury is pretty high.

Used to do loads, not been on a pair of skates in years, mine got thrown out in my recent move as the shells had gone brittle and fell apart, had I known how much the wheels, bearings and trucks were to replace I'd have salvaged them but hey ho... Would love to pick it up again but I need to sort my back out first.
Were they the old Bauer Turbo's per chance ? Mine did the same too. It's really common for these old skates sadly. Some of the old kit is mega money now. Belair Hockey wheels, Sims etc can got for hundreds.
