Just curious whether anyone hand any interesting sales stories, obviously hide the company / product etc
I was working in a holiday resort, and was asked to sell these rotten scratch cards to "the punters" when I was working behind the bar... so I had to go around the tables one by one and try to sell them, I probably sold about 20.
One guy was with his family, looked extremely wearily at me, but bought one - and instantly won £200! It was amazing seeing someone made so happy so easily, he even gave me a £5 tip for making his night, and I felt good to see someone genuinely getting some pleasure out of what I usually see as a big con (scratchcards). He and his family were ecstatic!
So all were happy, apart from the company, apparently someone else had won £200 quid from them that week... and I got a nice tip too
