Any services to recover data from internal memory?

Long story short, my only S3 died (conveniently about 3 weeks after my new phone arrived), and will now no longer turn on, or charge etc.

Problem is, there's some data from an app on the phone still that I would like to keep & transfer to my new phone, however as the phone is not functioning, I can't!

I've tried looking round the web, but can't find anything (although I'm sure they exist, so I'm probably just searching for the wrong thing), but I'm looking for a service that will attempt to recover the data from the internal memory directly, without the phone working.

I know it's possible to do, the only issue is it probably won't be economical to do it, but I would like to find the actual price to make that decision, so is anyone aware of such a service?

I've had some business customers do this and the costs were astronomical - just how far are you willing to go? 4 figures? Kroll is probably your best bet. If the device is encrypted this is the end of the line.

Unfortunately I'm not too hopeful that the costs will be lower than that, but I would like to know a figure to know for sure. I've dropped them a quote request, so lets see what they say.

Try another battery

Already have. The first time I tried using it since getting my new phone the screen went some very strange colours, and I had to hard reset. After doing so, it would not turn on etc, so I'm pretty sure it's dead.
