I had to sell my new-ish PC last month for some extra funds but just landed a new job so I'm in a position to buy one again soon... at the moment whilst I have a powerful PC to use at work, at home I'm using an old AMD 64 3500+, 1GB RAM, nVidia 6200 256MB TC
Does anyone yet know release date(s) for the upcoming Intel Quad processors (Yorkfield?) and the upcoming nVidia high-end graphics cards (9800gtx?)? I've seen so many different dates I have absolutely no idea if any of them have any solid information or are just rumours. Originally I thought the Q9450 was definitely being released on the 20th Jan 08, but recently I've seen people mention March 08, or Q2 08 - I wouldn't mind waiting until the end of january but no longer.
If neither of those are coming in January I'll just buy now (Q6600 + 8800 GTX), any ideas what's best to do?
