I recently finally upgraded to a PCI-e mobo and X1800XT 512mb card with an A64 X2 4200+ but was wondering that there doesn't really appear to be any configs in the bios for it (mobo is an Asus A8N5X). AGP has various apature sizes etc does PCI-e have something similar that needs changing depending on the amount of memory you have on the card?
I just really want to know if I need to tweak the bios atall to get optimum performance or whether you just plug it in and away you go :D
I've used CCC to overclock it to it's max settings for 3D applications but I'm pretty sure it's got a lot more to give. How does everyone else overclock with other apps as all the ones I've tried (atitool traytools) do not appear to be able to overclock this card and won't apply any overclock I wish to try.
I've managed a fairly good overclock on my CPU (2.2-2.75GHz) and was hoping to get optimum performance from my graphics card too.

any help thankfully received :D

No bios settings for PCI-e appart from in the overclocking section (on mine). But they're the kind of settings you just lock otherwise when you OC you'll ruin your card. So in short... Nope!
