Hi would it be worth upgrading from QX6700 EXTREME TO QX6850 EXTREME, I am not technically minded an dont understand the terms used on the specification.

Would you upgrade from that processor and if yes why?

Or if No why?

Any reasons would be of great help as my brother seem's to like wasting money, If I am wrong and it is worth upgrading I will not get involved..

Less than 400MHz extra and marginally faster fsb, not worth it and if you overclock it'll probably hit close to the same speeds on air due to heat limitation. Either way its a totally bad decision.
