I was waiting for Haswell to be released to build a gaming pc. Used to console game 3 or 4 years ago and now looking to get into PC Gaming. I was originally going to build up a Bitfenix prodigy but I like the flexibility of MATX while still using a relatively small case. I'm planning on using the Silverstone TJ08 with the following spec:

Intel Core i5 4670K
750W Corsair CXM Builder series
250GB Samsung 840
2TB Western Digital Green
16GB (2x8GB) Corsair DDR3 Vengeance Low Profile
Corsair H80i with 2 Noctua NF-P12 fans in push/pull
Silverstone TJ08B
Asus GRYPHON Z87
2GB MSI GTX 770 Gaming

Anyone built in one of these before?
Currently have a streacom FC8 Evo which i will be keeping as my HTTPC. Any changes to the spec? also I only have a 23" 1080p monitor is the 770 a bit overkill. No plans for multi monitor set up any time soon.

Thanks

ive had a few of the TJ08-E cases and its big on the inside and not difficult to work with. Has a removable motherboard which is a bonus.

Just remember for you to install the H80i (if using push/pull) install the block first then the radiator otherwise its going to be difficult

I have the TJ08-E, its a great case. Nice and easy to build.

The case comes with instructions of how to assembly with is pretty good.

All round great case..

The advice above is very good.

also make you have all your cables through the rear cable management slot before you put the the motherboard tray and the h80 on. :)

Hi this is a picture of my build - I have the Asus Z87 Gryphon and GTX 780. All I can say is the TJ08-E is easy to work with: http://www.overclock.net/t/1068487/silverstone-tj08-e-owners-club/4480#post_20120894

However due to the way the system works I HIGHLY recommend you get a blower style GPU and not an open air cooler based on experience. With an open air graphics card your graphics card will be running hotter and louder - it will be swimming in its own hot air.

Another point if you are using a optical disk drive then I highly recommend a 160mm PSU.

Also I dont think this case works well with AIO water cooling kits such as H80 - the VRMs will get hot. With a standard air cooler and 120mm exhaust the VRM will stay nice and cool - again based on my own experience with the case.
