any sites that list PC games with controller support? also, a portal question

i used to think that if a game had the 'games for windows' thingy on it, it would support a 360 controller but it ain't so

i also, used to think steam would bother to update their catalogue with 'controller enabled' but they don't do this all the time so it's hit and miss.

basically, i don't play games online anymore and preferr playing the single player game on my PC (better graphics with the ease of a controller) and need a list of games that can let me do this.

also, i just got portal for free as part of that steam deal and have enabled support via exec 360controller.cfg - but - the crosshair type thing has dissapeared. any ideas how to get it back?

portal with a controller will be a nightmare.

There's no "enemies" as such and so no aimbot assist and you have to be very quick

i did it before on my 360 with the orange box, but got drawn away by other games at the time. COD4 i think.

got it on my PC and it's prettier than on the 360

oh, it's not the speed (so far) that's making it a pain on the PC it's the lack of a visual aid like the crosshair

just in case anyone has the same prob with portal - just go to the console and use crosshair 1
