Hi I am looking for a couple of things, firstly to reduce my bandwidth even by what might seem like a sillily small amount so some kind of cache-ing software for Windows? Would this save things like the OcUK logo so it doesn't load everytime I come here?

Also want some software that can maybe record URLs or sites I visit in an easy to view format so I can make my Internet browsing more efficient by adding sites which waste my time to my hosts file so I can't visit them...

Your browser does a lot of caching. What you're talking about is some kind of caching web proxy - I'm not sure about configuring one to run locally I've never looked into it.

Are you on some kind of limited broadband service or dial up?

What browser are you using? If IE, just click the little yellow star in the upper-left corner, then "History".
