Any SSD setup and installation guides?

You don't really need to worry about it, TRIM and garbage collection will reduce wear as much as possible. It's not going to die in a couple of years because you install a few programs on it :p
 
I'm firmly in the 'just leave windows to it' camp.

I used to be an incessant fiddler. Now I cannot be bothered. As far as wearing out an SSD, I'm just not bothered about it. I will be happy to get 3 years out of it. Probably upgrade to a larger faster better new tech one by then!
 
Basically by the time an SSD comes to the end of it's life you'll be paying half the price for twice the space and speeed :p
