Any such program to remove numbers from start of files?

I have loads of files which have numbers such as "002" before it's file name after a file recovery ages ago.
I'd really love to remove them normal, 1 because i can't get program to recognize duplication files when they are different! and I like to search by it's first letter.
It would just take to long to do manually.

Anyone know anything?

ReNamer should be able to do it - various options like strip digits etc.
