Here's the specs for my summer build project. The cpu and motherboard will be replaced with the haswell equivalent on release (they are placeholders), and i'll probably buy the monitor while it is on offer today, but i'd like to see what you would suggest. (the watercooling stuff is temporary for now so may not all fit together as i'll go into detail in that closer to the time)

looks good...

Can't help but thinking that you'd be better getting Haswell since it launches is a little over a week...if you were planning a single Titan configuration you could go for the Z87 Sniper M5(it looks even better in the flesh) instead and save £200

:p read the first sentence lol, that's exactly what i'm doing :D

edit-- oh the m5... possibly but wouldnt it look a little silly in the 900D? :p, especially with cable management in the bottom.

It was either a huge case or a tiny case :D I couldnt choose between the two, but when the 900d was shown i really liked it. It works really well with the desk configuration i have (the back would be against the wall) and this is one of the only cases that looks good like that and fits in with what i want.

I kinda need that extra VRAM :P If it was 5GB like the leaks suggested, then possibly, but 3gb is pretty pitiful for a high end card. (i tend to run a lot of high res texture mods, and at 2560x1440, especially in skyrim with 2-4k textures and ENB, it eats 3GB for lunch :D

You're probably right about 16GB. 8GB definitely isn't enough for what i do sometimes.

regarding the data storage, i already have a 3TB + 1TB in a NAS for data storage ;) then 1TB + 500GB in my current PC with a 60GB ssd for steam games (old boot drive) and a 256gb boot ssd.
Not including data storage, ive used up 358GB on the drive for software, 119GB on the boot ssd and 37.3GB on the steam ssd (not enough for all my games) so that means that 500gb isn't really enough for me unfortunately :(
