As a former PC game addict, I switched to the world of consoles when the PS2 came out... I've recently bought a new computer - and would like some recommendations for games?

I used to love the futuristic ones.. G-Police was amazing!

I'm looking for a game that will keep me entertained but one that I could pick up with a couple of weeks of non-playing?

I realise that its not a lot to go on, but any replies gratefully received!

I'm not really into RPG games...

its a C2D 2.66 - 2gb ram, and its got a 256 x1300 i think...

If i get back into gaming in a big way, I might save for a 8800gts...

Might be worth getting a better graphics card as the 1300 is very poor and will struggle with any games.

Soz didnt read the specs properly:D

You may as well only go for the GTS if you dont have a huge budget, unless you have an e6700 clocked like a beast. Then go for the GTX :D
