Any TASBooks3 users

Anyone have any experience of using TASBooks3 in a workgroup configuration?

Clients take two minutes to connect to the server and all I get from tech support is "depends on your network and pc hardware".

Is two minutes about average?

Follow up

Just come off the phone with a TAS Engineer and the problem is that the database engine that TAS uses is run as a service. Active Directory/Group Policy does not allow this service to be accessed from networked client machines.

When the database is run as a application instead of a service, it works fine.

Any ideas on where in MSServer 2003 I would allow a service to be accessed from across a network.
