I haven't got much experience with choosing parts for builds, so I presume there are better parts for my needs than what I've chosen. Price is very important, and I've a budget of £650. The computer will be used mainly for gaming.
NZXT Phantom PHAN-001WT WHIT6 STEEL/Plastic enthusiast ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Intel Core i5-3570 Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core
ASRock Z77 Extreme 6 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
MSI R7750-PMD2GD3 Radeon HD 7750 2GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 3.0 x 16 HDCP Ready Card
Corsair Vengeance 8GB(2x4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Seagate Barracuda Green ST1500DL003 1.5TB
Coraair Builder Series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE CERTIFIED Active PFC Power Supply
Optical drive: To be salvaged from on old PC
I'm fairly set on my choice of case, but I'm open to changes almost anywhere else.
Is there a difference between the i5-3570, and the 3570K other than the integrated graphics, and would it be worth the extra £10?
I've been trying to cut down on costs and I think I could save a bit more on the motherboard. A good sturdy board with the abilty to add another graphics card if I get around to it. From what I've read, a Z77 chipset is preferred.
Would the stock CPU fan be enough, considering the case itself will be very well ventillated?
Finally, will the power supply be enough to power it all? (taking into account a second graphics card)
Thanks in advance,
Adam
