Any tips for keeping monitors cool?

I own a Dell Ultrasharp U2410 and this gets to hot at the top that i need to take breaks from the PC to cool off.

I keep it running a lot recently because I am out of work and I'm concerned about the amount of heat its giving off.

Anybody got any tips, or do I just need to live with it?

live with it, if it breaks RMA it

They're just hot screens, I've got 3x 2408s and I've had a 2407 and they've all ran quite hot.

Use some north pole wallpapers ?

They're power hungry screens. I almost burnt my hand on the top of a 27 inch Ultrasharp once.

You could try lowering the brightness a bit, but there's really not a lot you can do.

what brightness do you have it set at in the OSD? That controls backlight intensity so you may find toning that down helps
