any tips on taking a TJ07 case apart?

Get a screwdriver :)

And don't lose the screws :D

Basically its a very simple process.

The screws to remove are obvious, and not hidden.

The TJ07 is very well designed in this aspect, The Black ( or Silver ) outer shell will just slide of the internal chassis.

You'll be left with this :

Just watch out when releasing the rear panel from the top and bottom as the main casing can spring out as it is under tension.

Good point.

If you start from the front of the chassis - drive bay side , and remove the screws from their, then move to the back.
