Hi, im having some problems with trillian. I have tried searching for the problem but found no luck. I have this problem where MSN on Trillian keeps disconecting and reconecting on a regular basis. Is there any ports im suppose to forward to fix this?
Any trillian users here?

Finding this myself recently as well. It's not very stable at times.
Trillian 5 was released 2 days ago - has everyone who's having problems updated to it?

Downloaded the new version 5 but yet to try it out (currently used Pidgin). It's been a looooooooooooooooong time since I used Trillian

I used pidgin for a long time to, but it also did the same thing, and i couldnt recieve files from friends etc. Trillian on the other hand is pretty lite like pidgin, and has a simple look to its ui, reminds me of the old msn before it got changed. I could never use msn's own client since it got changed, way to bloated, even the mac version of the official msn client is better than windows...
I can live with the regular disconections as it reconnects straight away with no fuss, would still like to sort the problem out though if its possible.

Yeah im useing version 5, i also had the same problem with the version before it.
