Is there any Micro ATX board which supports Core 2 Quad Core processors? I want to get a system now but want to know that I can pop in a Quad core when the prices drop.

Thanks

Cases?

The case matters in that it must be capable of providing good airflow to cool a Quad-Core, but there's no official "support" for cases as such.

Sorry my mistake, i want ment to say is there any other motherboards apart from the Asus board which supports Quad Core.

the gigabyte GA-965G i think it is, supports quad core cheaper than the asus for a better product imo

here is one version

http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products...board&ProductID=2414&ProductName=GA-965GM-DS2

That does look like a very nice board, has SPDIF too! But why do they have to put the PCI-express 1X on the end of the board, not next to the X16 as a dual slot graphics card would render a PCI slot un-usable, rather have the X1 PCI-express slot unaccessable.

And when will Overclockers be selling this?
