Any UST projector owners?

Thinking about getting one for an upcoming project. Anything I need to lookout for in terms of pluses and minuses.
I have 3m wide area for the screen and I understand you need a specialised screen for these?

Did you end up buying one? I had a UST for a few weeks a couple years ago but couldn't get on with the fan noise sadly. Ended up swapping for a 'traditional' projector - it's large, but quiet (and perhaps a bit of an eye sore mounted on the ceiling). However it's also safe from any children's grubby fingers :)

As for the screen, at the time I picked up an ALR (ambient light reflection) fixed frame screen, I believe they are ideal for UST. I initially tried projecting on to a pull-down screen, but a UST projector needs a flat screen, and the slight waves / ripples in the pull-down screen just made a mess of the image.
 
Hi

No not yet, still considering my options. Have plenty of room for a standard PJ but was seeing some of the UST options at reasonable prices.
