Hey all,

I was recently given a pc by a mate as it took up space in his house. Hoping it would be LGA 1155 so I can swap out my potentially dead cpu. Unfortunately I found his setup was a high end LGA 775 build.

My question now is if there is any value in the parts to sell (or as a whole working pc). I took it of his hands mainly for the monitor and hopeing for new cpu.

The system is a Gigabyte LGA 775 MB with intel chip (Need to boot up to confirm which chip.) along with 8gb DDR2 ram, Thermaltake waterooling system with large 240mm radiator and AMD GPU (Again need to double check on which version) all inside a Thermaltake Armour case with a 500gb HDD.
If I sell, the HDD will be professionally wiped clean, but system contains everything and starts up / runs.

Also, is there a section on here for 2nd hand part sales?

You need at least 1000 posts before you get access to the members market to buy/sell here. You can't even ask for valuations outside of that. But maybe that spare PC will be good to throw steamos on and have a play with that.

Thanks for the info.
Sorry if the post broke any rules about asking for values.
Will prob just flog it as the case is HUGE and now taking up space.
