Any way of confirming core voltage increase?

Just wondering is there a program available that confirms that you have increased the core volt on a ATI card? For example you can use GPU-Z which will confirm you have increased from say 700MHz to 800Mhz core or from 1000MHz to 1100MHz memory. But is there a program that does the same for core voltage?

I know I can test and find out, but surely there is a program :)

  • GPU-Z will show core voltage on the sensors tab
  • MSI Afterburner supports slight core voltage increases and will show current core voltage as well
  • Rivatuner will monitor core voltage in hardware monitor
  • Everest will display core voltage under sensors

I had a look under the sensors tab before and the value there never changed. Is it the VDDC? my one is always on 1.0000V

I already have MSI Afterburner and to be honest that one of the reasons I was asking this question. How can I confirm what MSI is displaying is correct? I mean it only displays it the slider which you would increase. I also see a voltage monitoring option which can be enabled from the options. But again I wanted another program do it.

I was going to check out rivatuner, but I think MSI Afterburner actually uses that no?

As for everest, did not know you can use with ATI cards. I used that last some time ago on my 8800 GTS :)

Thanks for the quick response btw ;)

MSI does use rivatuner stuff yeah, and GPU-Z should work as well...are you sure you have checked "update sensors tab in background"?

Before I install, wanted to also ask if EVEREST Ultimate Edition is the one to go for? If so what is your opinion of it.

Indeed I have. I even have log to file on. Everything is updating except my Fan speed which for some reason the sensor is none existent, and the VDDC which I assume is your core volt?
