As title really, i installed itunes on my laptop and when i plug my iphone on and try to put music on it, it wants to delete whats already on it and i don't want to delete whats on it

Thanks

You have to put it in playlists and just sync that playlist.

I think...you also cant sync with 2 machines, i think.

grr, i have my music split between laptop and pc, i download mainly dj mixes and have somemon pc and others on laptop, but i have one song on my iphone which i had on my old pc and i don't want to lose it :(

There are apps available that will allow you to browse the files on your ipod/iphone and extract the song you want manually. I've done this before, however this was a couple of years ago with a 4th gen iPod photo so whether this is still possible I don't know, I can't remember the name of the app either :o

i've bit the bullet and synced, i seemed the only way, it wouldn't let me drag n drop music to my phone without syncing. However, some of my albums on itunes have split so it thinks one song of an album is actually an album, so i've got 55 files called cream future trance ane every one is a song of the album so i can't drag and drop the whole album onto my phone.

I just discovered that the latest MediaMonkey can add and remove music from the iPhone 3G, so long as you have iTunes installed. I added and removed a couple of tracks and it works fine. It's so much better than using iTunes.
