Any way to fix these broken LEDs?

Hey all,

I've just started using my Corsair K70 again, and it had suffered some water damage at some point (likely some blackcurrant I've spilt on it :p).

It works perfectly, except the LEDS. As you can see from the image below, I set all keys to white, and some of the keys are not showing correctly. On these keys, some colours will work, others won't.

(Apologies for the dust, still needs a clean up :p)

Is there anyway to fix this at all?

Thanks,

Marky

Edit: Sorry Dons, I misread the forum to be “Gaming Hardware” - Feel free to move if you think it should be :)

The LEDs are built into the switches, so if they are broken then you would have to desolder the broken ones and solder new ones in. Certainly possible if you can handle a soldering iron, or know someone who can.

It might be worth taking it apart and cleaning the PCB, in case it's just something shorted out by sticky residue.
