Any way to get my pictures back

My son was born yesterday

Anyway I imported some pictures into lightroom from today, I thought I had one picture selected which looked a bit out of focus so I decided to delete it and "remove from disk"

Nope it removed all of todays photos!!! :mad:

Seeing as my process is to cut and paste from my memory card to disk, is there any way to get them back?

You know I hadn't thought of that!!!! I presumed remove from disk was like a shift-delete!

Also for future reference as long as you haven't reused the card you can use free recovery software to get them back quite easily. Even if you have reused the card you may be able to get them back.

I used a free recovery programe i got with a magazine once, and got my photos back off my card i had deleted. I can't remember what it was but if you need the name ill find it for you.
