I'm guessing that the answer is no, but it's worth asking.
I've got two contracts with Three but can no longer use them due to getting no signal in either my new house or my new place of work. At home I guess I can use one of their microcells but at work I don't have that option. I've tried using the InTouch app but it's specifically blocked by our ISP in work and they won't unblock it (I work in a school and school ISPs are funny about this sort of thing).
The only company that will get signal in both places is EE so I could do with moving to them. One contract has a year left on it, the other has 5 months.

Well, yeah I had planned to do that once I get somewhere with a phone signal......
Just wondered if anyone had any experience with this.

I deal with telecom companies almost every day.

They are a pain, since the industry standard for service is terrible, as we all know.

If you go through the normal way (150 on ee, not sure about 3)

They will want to charge you the rest of the contract minus the VAT. Tell them it is not acceptable and that they have entered a contract to offer you a service you cant receive nor they deliver. The person you are speaking to does not have the power to cancel a contract or offer you any solutions, so they will transfer you to support or straight to the 'thinking of leaving us?' team. Support will get you nowhere and you will get put through to the leaving team. Tell them that you would be fine if they could deliver the service you paid for but at the moment, they cannot.

Eventually they will just let you cancel at no cost, after a few transfers.

Can't see that there should be any issue given that you can't actually use their service. It might be worth seeing first whether they can provide you with any of those "booster boxes" (that piggyback your broadband), or whether they have a wifi calling app that you can use, at least as a trial.

We can use the wifi calling app at home but I can't at work due to security policies.
I will call them and see where I get.

I've had very little luck with Three. I got a new contract with them a couple of months ago, but wasn't happy with the speed or coverage. I phoned to cancel thinking I was within 14 days, but it was day 15. They totally refused, 1 day too late, and wanted the balance of the 1 yr contract paid. So I'm stuck with it. Will be going back to EE when it is finished.

tbh apart from coverage wise, there is very little between them all in terms of service. Even coverage wise is fairly similar now they share a lot of it

What did you expect? It's not 14 days give or take a few.

they might give you a signal booster for use at home

Just to follow up on this.
It took me about an hour on the phone being passed from disconnections to technical then back to disconnections and then finally to customer complains got me out of the contracts with no fees.
