Just noticed a purple pixel on my BenQ 144Hz monitor and it's driving me nuts, It's tiny but I know where it is an it keeps looking at me :p

Is there any reliable way to get rid of these without RMA'ing ?

Not too sure it just says a 2 year warranty.

LCD monitors are sold with a panel classification of 0-3.

Only class 0 guarantees no pixel faults at all.

Unless the panel in your monitor is class 0 (most aren't), or it's sold with a perfect pixel guarantee, it may not be replaceable for a single stuck pixel.

It's something you should perhaps check before implying it can be repaired or replaced under warranty.

Yep, Changed the MM post to reflect this.

I've never ever been able to bring a stuck pixel back to life. This is why I always very carefully unbox the monitor, check it for dead pixels, and if I find any it goes back under 7 day dsr

They are a right pain :-(

some etailors offer pixels checking services for under a tenner, which is quite good when you consider the return postage and messing about.
