Any way to monitor temps on core unlocked AMD CPU?

So i bought a ECO A.L.C. and tested it out with my Phenom II x2 at stock speeds and setting by monitoring temps at 100% load but i use my CPU core unlocked to an x4. Having the CPU unlocked means my normal temp monitoring program Core Temp along with others fail to get any readings.

So is there any software than can monitor my CPU temps other than the way Core Temp or the like works i.e. getting the info of the motherboard or something?

Use Hardware Monitor, as it shows the actual sensor that you want to be reading. Core temperature sensors on AMD chips are inaccurate, and you should be reading the sensor under the motherboard section.

This. It's one of the TPIN temps that you want to look for as there are no temp sensors built into the chip. Add about 10c to it and that should give a rough estimate of your core temps.

Tried HWMonitor and speedfan so far with both reporting the same temps when idle as well as the same increasing temps when the CPU is placed under full load. I prefer HWMonitor better out of the two as it does give me a Min and Max reading which i can refer to after any test/CPU intense program to see how well my cooler is doing.

So far i have reasonable temps when my CPU running as a quad and i seem to have stopped my system crashing which may be down to lower temps using the eco or the fact i increased voltage?
