Any way to request getting ADSL upgraded

I have broadband throu ADSL at the moment but for over a year I have only been able to get 512k.

Is there an email or a request form online for BT to request the exchange gets upgraded. I am happy I can even get broadband but 512k is starting to feel slow, just for general browsing.

If not what other options are avalible to me, to get faster internet. Any links would be helpful.

We need a few more bits of information. Your exchange will support speeds up to 8Mb, unless it's part of the Exchange Activate scheme.

Goto www.samknows.com, type in your phone number and you'll get the exchange. Paste the link to that here.

Also, try the broadband checker on www.bt.com/broadband and tell us what it expects you to get.

And while you're at it, what modem are you using, and can you get stats out of it (instructions for some modems in FAQ).
