any way to stop steam store popup

is there any way to stop steam from opening the store popup when starting steam?

Settings -> Interface -> Box at the bottom.

Under the Interface tab within Settings, there is the "Notify me (with Steam instant messages) about additions or changes to my games, new releases, and upcoming releases." option.
