There is an Intel Pentium 4 "Prescott" 3.2GHz (800FSB) with HT Technology in the B-grade section. Is there any way to establish which socket this is for?

Yep, I am going to do that tomorrow but I was wondering if there is any way to find out now Maybe the code gives it away to some of you gurus or something...guess not.

BG is B Grade
IN is intel
and 016 probably meens the 16th b grade intel cpu they've offered - so no help there

I could be wrong, but it sounds to me like it's a socket 478 CPU.

It could just as well be 775...anyway, I just bought the same thing new elsewhere for less...

I think it's a 775, it's the same chip as mine just 200MHz faster.
