A friend wants to know if he can use all 3 current gen consoles on his PC monitor somehow? I know theres HDMI switches that would cover the 360 and PS3, but not sure on Wii. Is there a way?

Cheers

The component cable is better than the RGB for the Wii if you have the sockets. I think that's the only way of displaying it in 480p

Ok let's say start from scratch...Monitor has one HDMI slot, one DVI, one RGB. What would he need to run all three consoles? Just so i can tell him for sure

Ok for the 360 get the VGA adapotr cable, for the PS3 can either Use HDMI cable or get HDMI to DVI cable, as for wii give me few mins get back 2 you

On the site that you didn't just link to, you can also get a Vdigi HDMI 1080P Upscaler - I have something similar that does the job.

That cable you (didn't) link to is a SCART, by the way - no god for monitors.

Thanks, had a look but that's very pricey. He actually has an official wii component cable, is there something that could make that work on his monitor?
