The British love to moan about the weather:
. Too hot
. Too cold
. Rains too much
. Not rained for weeks
. Too windy
. Too foggy
. If there’s snow mentioned (then elderly clear the shelves of tinned soup)

What, if, is a combination of weather which get very few moans about. What would it be?

Earthquake, Hurrican/Typhoon, 40c + heat, 100% humidity.

Basically, we don't moan about the really bad stuff because we don't get it bad, it's the perfect example of taking things for granted.

That spell of lovely weather we had during the first lockdown, empty streets, fresh air, and slightly above average temps for that time of year.

People just prefer different weathers to others. There's always going to be somebody unhappy with the weather, or any and everything that can have polarising preference.

yep, gimme 15 degrees, dry but lightly overcast with a decent breeze.

and i guarantee whilst i'm happy loads of folk will be moaning about it.

I don't complain about spring and autumn weather when its sunny but not too hot. Best times of the year. Utterly beautiful weather. Around 18 degrees and sunny is my happy place.

There is nothing the British won't moan about. It's the national pastime.

You could be right, people often moaned about the traffic when I drove a London taxi, but I picked a guy up at Euston one day who asked for the BBC building, Bush House, in Aldwych.
Traffic was exceptionally light, and as I was coming down Kingsway he moaned that he'd be too early for his meeting and would have to walk around for 40 minutes.
I said, “Lots of coffee bars around here, kill half an hour in one.”
He moaned, “At London prices?”
Can’t win.

Too hot? It would be interesting to see if that mainly comes from fat people.
Too cold? That too would also be interesting to see if it mainly comes from thin people or people with poor circulation.
Rains too much? Likely coming from the sun lovers. Like me.:D
Not rained in weeks? Likely the gardeners.
Too windy/snow? Sounds like the Council.
Too foggy? Probably morning drivers that suffer night blindness.

People like different weather.
Some weirdos like autumn!

If I had to have one weather 24/7
It would be 25c and sun.

The raging heat we had during this week and that week in July was amazing. Not nice to work in, but being on sea at 10pm and it still being warm? That's lush!

If I could choose one weather to be permanently rid of it would be
10c with wind and rain.

Unfortunately most of the autumn and winter seem to be this. Dry, cold winters now seem rare.
