dfs names space "dfs"
share "profiles"
servers SERVERS1 and SERVER2 (either side of a slow wan...
both server have replicas of the profiles share
I RDP on server1 and copy data from \\dfs\profiles and the data comes from server2 (i guess this becase it takes so long to copy) rather than from its D:\ where the share is -
Any ideas? (dfs is new to me)
(data not from the DFS transferes around on the server as one would expect)
