Hi all,
My friend has got a Epson Stylus SX425W and it has an option to connect directly to his computer.
He uses a dongle to connect to the Internet so doesn't have a router hence using a direct connection.
I've set-up the ad-hoc connection to the printer successfully, and it prints while connected to the Internet via the dongle.
However it does not start-up this connection when the computer starts up from cold. I have to go into the network screen and some how it starts working.
Now the Internet connection uses the home network type.
The printer uses a public network type.
I can only think that this is causing the problem.
Has anyone got experience with this problem, if so did you manage to automatically start the public network on start-up? If not is it possible to change the Ad hoc printer connection so it is part of the home network, which I presume will then add the printer to this work and solve the problem?
I am stuck.
Any ideas and help will be appreciated.
Thanks
